As most of research repeatedly says, students who interact with books are the better readers they will become. So… we introduced EPIC To Year 2 students.
EPIC is an online and app-based data based of thousands of real books. Forget decodable readers and leveled books. This website offers amazing, authentic texts for students. These texts are perfect for read-to-self, class read-alouds, or partner reading. Additionally, EPIC offers hundreds of these books in read-aloud form and they are adding more every week. Year 2 students were very excited in exploring EPIC They worked in a pair to digest the function of search in EPIC. Students tried to search books based on their interests. By using school iPads, students can find many good reading to share with their friends. We wanted ACG School Jakarta students to be better readers and EPIC is a good resource that delivers books that are high-interest for each of the unique readers. |
